A more frontal view showing some more pipe work in place. The small pipe work is to be fitted inside the bogie mounting cross member. This pipe work is being fitted now as there won't be much room when the saddle is fitted.
The rear cross member fitted in place.
A rare view, Nathan, who is looking very pleased with himself.
Next the rear drag box has been bolted securely into its place prior to riveting.
The drag box had to have the rubbing plates (above) and the steam brake mounting brackets (below) riveted into place before it was fitted into the frames.
Later in the day the top flange on both sides has been successfully riveted to the frame.
another view where the left hand top flange rivets can be seen clearly.
